Terms
These terms apply to the programs and events of BlueOcean LLC (“we”, “us”), run by Thomas Weidlich: the Alive Together community, the Mastermind Cohort Sprints and Inspiration Days.
1. Who these offers are for
Our paid programs and events are offered primarily to entrepreneurs and businesses. When you book, you confirm that you book in the course of your business or profession, unless you tell us otherwise. If you book as a consumer, the mandatory consumer rights of your country of residence stay unaffected, including the right of withdrawal described in section 9.
Speaking engagements, workshops and consulting are agreed separately in writing and are not covered by these terms.
2. Applying and booking
For the Mastermind Cohort Sprints and Inspiration Days, you apply first. We review every application personally and may decline it without giving reasons. If we accept you, you receive a payment link. The contract is concluded when your payment has been received. Until then, applying does not oblige you to anything.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are in euros. All prices are net prices. VAT is added where it applies. Payment is made through Stripe. If you pay a sprint in instalments, all instalments are due even if you stop taking part early.
4. Alive Together community
Membership in the Alive Together community is free. We may end a membership at any time, for example if the conduct rules in section 7 are broken. You can leave the WhatsApp community at any time.
5. Mastermind Cohort Sprints
- A sprint runs for three months in a fixed group of six people, with a weekly two-hour online mastermind and weekly reviews.
- Price for the first cohort: €750 paid upfront, or three monthly payments of €300.
- You book the whole sprint. Missed sessions cannot be refunded or made up individually.
- If a sprint does not start, for example because the group is not complete, you receive a full refund.
- Once the sprint has started, payments are not refunded, including if you stop taking part.
6. Inspiration Days
What the ticket includes
The full program and facilitation, the arrival dinner on the evening before the first day, and coffee and snacks in the breaks. Accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel, costs in the city and travel are not included, unless stated otherwise when you book.
If you cannot come
- You can transfer your ticket to another person at any time free of charge, if you tell us their name and they are accepted by us.
- If you cancel up to 60 days before the event, we refund the ticket price minus a €100 handling fee.
- If you cancel between 60 and 30 days before the event, we refund 50 % of the ticket price.
- If you cancel less than 30 days before the event, or do not attend, the ticket price is not refunded.
If we have to change or cancel
We may adjust the program, the schedule, speakers and facilitators, as long as the character of the event stays the same. If we cancel the event, you receive a full refund of the ticket price. We are not liable for travel or accommodation costs, so we recommend that you book these with free cancellation.
7. How we treat each other
- Confidentiality. What participants share stays in the room, unless the person who shared it agrees otherwise.
- Respect. Harassment, discrimination or hostile behaviour ends your participation without a refund.
- No selling. Our groups and events are not a sales channel. Please do not pitch, cold-sell or recruit participants for unrelated offers.
8. Health, movement and your own responsibility
Our programs and events include movement, workouts, cold exposure, thermal baths, breathwork and somatic exercises. Taking part in each activity is voluntary. You decide for yourself whether an activity is right for you, and you take part at your own risk. Please talk to a doctor beforehand if you have a health condition, are pregnant or are unsure, and tell us about anything we should know to keep you safe.
Nothing in our programs is medical, psychological, legal, financial or investment advice. Sessions with therapists from partner organisations are provided by those partners under their own terms.
Photos and film
We may take photos and film at events and use them to show our work. If you do not want to appear, tell us before or during the event, and we will respect that.
9. Right of withdrawal for consumers
This section applies only if you book as a consumer in the EU.
Mastermind Cohort Sprints: you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of booking without giving a reason, by writing to thomas@thomasweidlich.com. If you have asked us to start the sprint within these 14 days, you pay the share for the sessions that have already taken place.
Inspiration Days: Tickets are for an event on a specific date. Under Art. 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU there is no right of withdrawal for such bookings. The cancellation rules in section 6 apply instead.
10. Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage caused by intent or gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. In all other cases, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the program or event concerned. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
11. Final provisions
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live also apply. If a provision of these terms is invalid, the rest remains valid.
